One of our favorite aspects of being located in the Atlanta region is that there are so many scenic locations for not just weddings, but opportunities for us to capture some beautiful parts of the area. We thought it’d be great to share our favorite spots with you and provide some inspiration for your next photography adventure.
Stone Mountain is one of the first locations that spring to mind when thinking of a great photo op or outdoor adventure. This iconic Atlanta landmark towers over its surroundings and you can hike to the top of the mountain for a breathtaking view of the park residing below.
Little Mulberry Park
Right outside Lawrenceville, lies Little Mulberry Park and it’s surely asking to be photographed with it’s magnificent, vibrant landscape. Whether it’s biking, running hiking, or just a casual stroll, there is so much to do within the park itself.
Another nice area to go stroll around and get some great shots would be Lenox Park. It provides a plethora of shots and like a quiet space within an urban jungle. Similar to Little Mulberry Park, there are running trails, walking paths, and a nice pond that’s reminiscent of the one from “Pride and Prejudice.”
The Arabia Mountain, no doubt, makes our list because the breathtaking moments you are able to capture. The mountain trail leads you to the summit with a resonating view and right outside the Atlanta area.
Chattahoochee River Recreational Area
The Chattahoochee River is another wonderful space, where you can obtain an eye-catching shot. The shades of green and reflection of the water create a natural dynamism for a frame. There aren’t many camera settings that can recreate the authenticity and a sense of wholeness that environment has innately. At times, it’s useless to even apply certain camera settings because it won’t do the space justice. Just capturing a simplistic shot can be great on its own.
